ANTHONY ALLEYNE and Aaron Jones have made their Barbados breakthroughs.

The two young batsmen are set to make their Barbados Pride debut next month after being named in an otherwise unsurprising 13-man squad for the opening round of the WICB Professional Cricket League match against Leeward Islands Hurricanes in St Kitts.

The news was made official this afternoon during a press conference announcing insurance giants ICBL as the franchise’s new corporate sponsor.

Both Jones, 22, and Alleyne, 23, have previously represented the Combined Campuses and Colleges at the regional level.

Squad: Kevin Stoute (captain), Anthony Alleyne, Shamarh Brooks, Nikolai Charles, Roston Chase, Miguel Cummins, Shane Dowrich, Justin Greaves, Aaron Jones, Omar Phillips, Kemar Roach, Jomel Warrican, Kenroy Williams, Emmerson Trotman (coach), Wendell Coppin (manager) (JM)
