WORKERS FROM JADA have downed tools at four construction sites on the West Coast.

Crews are off the job at Blue Haven, located at Mount Standfast, St James; Beachlands at Vauxhall – near Sunset Crest – also in St James, and King’s Beach Hotel in Road View St Peter.

Another crew working on what appears to be a private home called Laughing Water (also known as Lee House) in Sandy Lane is also off the job.

Ricky Wiltshire, the project officer at the Mount Standfast site, referred the NATION team to management.

Meanwhile, workers remain mum.

They say the Barbados Workers Union representative will address all queries, but the person was yet to make an appearance at the time of this story. (HLE)
