Seniors haul in 90 Huntsman medals

MEMBERS of the Barbados team at Huntsman World Senior Games touched down at the Grantley Adams International Airport yesterday with a record haul of 90 medals.

The Games, which took place in St George, Utah, is the largest Olympic- style multi-sport event for seniors 50 years and older. The event attracted just over 10 500 athletes who competed in 30 sporting events.

Barbados manager Rawle Clarke said this was the biggest accumulation of medals the team had gained since the 2007 Games when they brought home 83 medals.
