Update: Man killed at Jackson

POLICE ARE CONDUCTING investigations into the circumstances surrounding the unnatural death of a man in his mid-thirties.

Public relations officer acting Inspector Roland Cobbler said police received a report of a shooting incident at Jackson, St Michael in the area of the Nazarene Church around 2:40 p.m.

“On arrival to the scene the injured man was seen being treated by ambulance medical technicians for what appeared to be a gunshot injury to the back of the head.  He was rushed to the QEH where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries,” Cobbler said in a release.

Anyone who can provide any information to assist with these investigations is asked to contact the police emergency number  211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800 –TIPS (8477), the District ‘A’ Police Station at 430-7246 or 430-7242, or the nearest police station.
