WORKERS IN WARRENS Tower II were forced to evacuate the building this morning because of a foul smell.

Station officer with the Barbados Fire Service Henderson Patrick said a problem with a battery in an auxiliary power unit caused the odour.

Police, fire officers, officials of the Ministry of Health and representatives of the Environmental Protection Department visited the scene.

The workers were allowed back into the building just after 1:30 p.m. (TG)
