WEST INDIES ‘A’ are looking to return to the Caribbean with not one, but two wins under their belt this year.

This is according to Graeme West, coach of the team which is headed to Sri Lanka today to play three four-day matches and three one-day matches

“Some of these guys have played for the West Indies already, while some are aspiring to. Sri Lanka is a strong side and a number of our guys have already played in Sri Lanka. We’re not going to make up the numbers; we’re going to be competitive.

“And having been on a tour of Sri Lanka two years ago and come back without having won a game, certainly an objective for me is to be successful in both forms,” he told NATIONSPORT during one of their final practice sessions at the 3Ws Oval. (RA)
