ATTORNEY Andrew Pilgrim has written the Commissioner of Police requesting details about how wanted man, Marlon Smith, escaped police custody last Friday.

Pilgrim, who is representing Smith’s concerned family, said police reports surrounding his “escape” were sketchy.

“They had the guy for two days; he escaped from them which they didn’t disclose, and now they are saying he is armed and dangerous. The last persons to see him alive are the police officers. How did he get armed? Help us to understand,” Pilgrim said.

He told the SUNDAY SUN that he was awaiting a response from Acting Commissioner Tyrone Griffith, but that Smith’s family was getting more anxious as the days went by. (MB)
