One man recaptured, three still wanted by police

KADARIAN MCNEAL MAYERS, who was the subject of a wanted man bulletin having escaped police custody on August 12, has been recaptured.

Police say the 30-year-old of #4 Hill Side, Gall Hill, Christ Church was arrested on White Park Road, St Michael on Monday.

He has been charged with escaping lawful custody, two cases of disorderly behaviour and six cases of theft.

Mayers is expected to appear in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the Royal Barbados Police Force is still seeking the assistance of the public in locating 37-year-old Marlon Anthony Smith, 24-year-old Akeem Dave Mason and 29-year-old Livardo Rogelio Hinds.

These persons are advised that they can present themselves to the police accompanied by an attorney of their choice.

Anyone who knows their whereabouts is asked to contact the police emergency number 211, the nearest police station or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477).

The public is reminded that it is a serious offence to harbour or assist wanted persons; any person caught committing this offence can be prosecuted. (PR/NB)
