Man shot at Deacons named

POLICE ARE CONTINUING their investigations into a shooting incident which left a man with multiple gunshot injuries to the body.

He is Brian Marville, 25, of Deacons Farm, St Michael.

While the initial police report said he was attacked by a number of masked men, police now say it was a lone man.

Marville was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance where he continues to undergo treatment.

As investigations continue, anyone who can provide information to assist are asked to contact the Police Emergency at telephone number 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800 -TIPS (8477), Black Rock Police Station at 4177500, or 4177501, or the nearest Police Station.
