Gonsalves blasts Liat

“It’s just bad [service] and we have to say that,” St Vincent and the Grenadines Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves said after a symposium to discuss Brexit and its implications for the Caribbean yesterday at the University of the West Indies.

It was one of the most damning statements to be made by a major shareholder government about the regional carrier.

In spite of this, Gonsalves remains adamant that sticking to a February 2015 decision for the Antigua-based airline to shift its fleet base to Barbados was the right thing to do. (WILLCOMM)
