KYLE HOPE is a man on a mission. That mission is to always give of his best on whichever team he plays cricket for; whether locally, regionally or internationally.
Hope, who plays for ESA Field Pickwick in the Barbados Cricket Association’s Division 1 competition, has started the 2016 season with three centuries – 120 and 100 not out against Combermere and 113 not out against Barbados Fire Service.
He attributes his success thus far to having played for the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force in the regional four-day competition in the Professional Cricket League, and the Tridents Pride of Barbados in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) Twenty20 competition.
“I will call it growth and the experiences I would have had playing for the Trinidad franchise and the Barbados Tridents; being able to play a lot more first-class games, learning more about myself and my game, and being able to be on the same stage as world-class players in the CPL,” he told WEEKENDSPORT.
