THE BARBADOS REVENUE Authority says the income tax system is offline due to “electrical issues” and as a result, payment services are unavailable at the Treasury Building.
The BRA said it is working speedily to resolve the problem.
In the meantime, taxpayers have been asked to visit the Authority’s locations at Weymouth, Warrens or Holetown to conduct all other payment transactions. Only licensing transactions can be conducted at the Oistins branch of the BRA.
“The Authority deeply regrets any inconvenience caused and will inform the public when normal operations at the Treasury can resume,” a statement said. (PR/NB)
