WHEN THE ATTORNEYS representing the principals of Rock Hard Cement Limited and the Town and Country Planning Department return to court next month, it is expected that arguments will be heard challenging the validity of the notices served on the company to cease building at the site by the Flour Mill, off Spring Garden Highway.
The matter did come up before Justice Randall Worrell in the No.9 Supreme Court yesterday morning, but after less than 30 minutes in the court room, attorneys Vincent Watson and Derrick Oderson, who are representing the company, and Gayl Scott and Alison Burke who are representing the Chief Town Planner, left with the new dates.
The company is accused of breaching a notice issued by the Office of the Chief Town Planner instructing it to stop building a storage facility and put the land back to its original state.
It is expected that on September 12 before Worrell, supplemental submissions will be made regarding the injunction to stop building on the property … (GBM)
