LEGAL AND HEALTH officials from around the region are currently in Barbados to discuss issues surrounding health-related law.
The meeting got underway this morning at the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) headquarters in Marine Gardens, Hastings, Christ Church.
Among those in attendance was Attorney General Adriel Brathwaite who gave brief remarks on the importance of addressing matters such as brain death legislation and the legalisation of marijuana.
Over the next two days, the officials from five regional countries will discuss these and additional matters with the aim of addressing them at a regional level. (AD)
