POLICE HAVE CHARGED a 19-year-old with the illegal possession of a firearm after a spring-operated BB gun was allegedly found in a vehicle in which he was travelling.
He is Kyle Greg Browne of Sturges, St Thomas.
Police say they intercepted a vehicle in Jackmans, St Michael on July 16 and a search of the vehicle revealed the weapon.
BB guns are classified as firearms under the Laws of Barbados and investigations led to Browne’s arrest.
He is expected to appear at the District “A” Magistrates’ Court today. (PR/NB)
