Caregiver’s case adjourned

THE CAREGIVER charged with assaulting an elderly woman at a nursing home appeared at the District “C” Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

Arielle Odinga King, 37, of Lynches Tenantry, St Philip, first appeared at the District “A” Magistrates’ Court on May 19 charged with simple assault against Jasmine Hall.

King, who was allegedly at the centre of a video which went viral on social media which showed the mistreatment of an elderly woman, was granted $3 000 bail by Magistrate Kristie Cuffy Sargeant.

King appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Christopher Birch yesterday and the matter was adjourned until October 24. (TKS
