A NEW CHALLENGE has been launched for Barbadian businesses, youth and communities.

Called the National Aspirational Challenge, it is the contribution of the National Initiative for Service Excellence (NISE) for the country’s 50th anniversary of Independence.

Chief executive officer Kim Tudor, who announced the initiative yesterday during NISE’s Leader To Leader Innovation Forum, is anticipating participation from at least 100 organisations.

She explained that the aim was to spur organisational transformation and inspire national pride by showcasing courage, determination and perseverance as exemplified by late Prime Minister Errol Barrow and others who moved Barbados towards Independence. (WILLCOMM)
