Early morning shooting

A MAN IS CURRENTLY in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in serious condition after being shot early this morning.

According to police public relations officer Acting Assistant Superintendent David Welch, the man, said to be in his 40’s, was shot multiple times while walking along Deacons Main Road, St Michael around 2:15 a.m.

He was quickly rushed to the hospital where he underwent emergency surgery.

Investigations are continuing into the incident. (RB)
