Rubis plea

SELL THE OIL TERMINAL to two companies as joint owners – for Barbados’ sake.

That’s the plea from Rubis Holdings Caribbean Inc. to Government after their bid for the Barbados National Terminal Company Limited (BNTCL) was rejected.

The French company is contending that the terminal was too strategic to Barbados’ oil security to be singularly owned, and has called on the Freundel Stuart administration to sell it jointly to them and the presumed successful bidder, Simpson Oil Limited (Sol). (SP)
