At the signing of agreement between Emera Caribbean, the Ministry of Sports and the National Sports Council at the ministry’s headquarters on Friday, it was revealed that the company had given nearly $400 000 in financial assistance to the two sporting facilities.

Under the Centres Of Excellence Project, Silver Hill Hard Court in Christ Church and North Stars Club, St Lucy, will benefit from $125 000 and $267 252, respectively, for the refurbishment and redevelopment of their facilities.
