Sagicor moving to Bermuda

SHAREHOLDERS in financial conglomerate Sagicor have voted for holding company, Sagicor Financial Corporation, to be moved from Barbados to Bermuda.

And the move is expected to take place before yearend.

The majority of shareholders gave their stamp of approval at a more than two-hour annual general meeting that ended just after 8 p.m. at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre yesterday, with only two objections.
