CONSUMERS WILL PAY more for gasoline, diesel and kerosene, and less for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from midnight, Sunday, June 5.

The retail price of gasoline will move from BDS$2.79 per litre to BDS$2.85, an increase of six cents per litre. The price of diesel will rise from BDS$1.88 per litre to BDS$1.99, an increase of 11 cents. Kerosene will now retail at 92 cents per litre, an increase of eight cents.

Meanwhile, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will retail at BDS$140.31 per 100 lb cylinder, down from BDS$152.99, a decrease of $12.68. The price of the 25 lb cylinder has dropped from $43.35 to $40.18, a decrease of $3.17 cents, while the 22 lb cylinder will now cost $35.52, down from $38.31, which is $2.79 less. These adjustments in retail prices are due solely to changes in the CIF (cost, insurance and freight) of these refined products. (BGIS)
