THE ROYAL BARBADOS POLICE FORCE has made significant progress in the murder investigation of former Baxters Road entrepreneur Colin Forde.

Police public relations officer Acting Assistant Superintendent David Welch informed the SUNDAY SUN last night that two men are in custody at the Central Police Station in The City, assisting with the investigation into Forde’s shooting death.

Forde, 50, of 10th Avenue, New Orleans, St Michael, was shot just after 7.30 p.m. on May 10, while sitting on the steps of his business, Colin’s Place, on Baxters Road, St Michael.

Two masked men reportedly ran away from the scene, brazenly showing their guns as they fled across the nearby Passage Road pasture. (BA)
