A CHRIST CHURCH man was released on $20 000 bail yesterday after appearing in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court and pleading not guilty to four drug charges.

He is 20-year-old Trevon Orlando Farley of Pegwell Boggs.

Police say he went to the Bridgetown Port on June 2 to clear personal effects and presented documents for two barrels.

Customs enforcement officers interviewed him and while searching the barrels, they allegedly found seven large packages of cannabis weighing 6.6 pounds hidden in six cereal boxes.

Police were called in and Farley was charged with possession of cannabis, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation.

He is expected to return to court on September 6, 2016. (PR/NB)
