Recruits’ challenge

THE NEWEST POLICE CONSTABLES to pass out from the Regional Police Training Centre (RPTC) have been urged to never do anything that would cause them to lose their credibility, integrity and honesty as they go about their duties.

This challenge came from chairman of Williams Industries, Ralph “Bizzy” Williams, as he delivered the featured address at the 139th Passing-Out Parade yesterday.

Williams told them that those three attributes were priceless commodities and they should never allow money or anything to corrupt them because it would lead to regret on a dead-end road.

He said in his company he had developed a code of conduct over 20 years ago and because of that, they had lost a lot of contracts but he did not regret instituting the code.  (LK)
