The Barbados Defence Force (BDF) has begun the process of gathering aid for The Bahamas.

Chief of Staff Col. Glyne Grannum has said that the BDF is not ready to start warehousing relief supplies just yet, however it has begun compiling a list of the items it could be asked to ship.

Col. Grannum said that, through the Barbados Coast Guard arm, the BDF would be able to plan for the most efficient method of moving the supplies.

Anyone interested in sending relief supplies to The Bahamas is asked to contact the Barbados Defence Force at https://www.bdfbarbados.com/help-bahamas/ or email [email protected] or call 536-2500. (PR)
