REVEREND DAVID HOLDER has celebrated 25 years as the pastor of the Collymore Rock Church of the Nazarene.

His congregation pulled out all the stops, hosting a special appreciation service on Sunday evening with him and his family as the honoured guests.

During the three and a half hour event, he was presented with numerous gifts, tributes were paid by those whose life he had influenced, others whom he had worked with as well as the District Superintendent, Rev. Dr Orlando Seale. The session was filled with songs of praise, including members of the Sunday school, solo acts and a dance number.

Holder said he was moved by the tributes.

“God has been my source of health. He has really been good to me. He has been faithful to me and by His grace I stand here today,” he told the congregation, which included Member of Parliament Santia Bradshaw and Senator Rev Dr David Durant. (WILLCOMM)
