SET A HIGH standard for others to follow.
That was the advice given by senior vice-president of the Barbados Football Association (BFA), Al Walcott, to 28 coaches at the closing ceremony of the CONCACAF ‘C’ Licence course at the BFA headquarters last Thursday.
“Maintain your standards and ensure the players come up to the standard. Continue to raise the bar because if you stay stagnant others will come to you and you will have nothing to give to them,” said Walcott.
He said that though the participants now had to wait for their final results on completing the course he viewed them as “licensed practitioners” since they had moved to another level in coaching. (RG)
