Holder: Missing values to blame

A DISCONNECT BETWEEN the church and the home is resulting in the manifestation of violence by schoolchildren.

And Archbishop of the West Indies and Bishop of Barbados Dr John Holder added that he hoped the Anglican Church’s focus on the upcoming Child Month could change the situation.

“One of the major problems we’re facing in society at this time is the disconnect that has taken place between the homes and the church or the homes and religion,” the Archbishop said at a Press conference held at the Diocesan House.

“For better or for worse, religion offers a collection of values that we hardly find in any other institution in the world,” he added.
