TITLE-WINNING CRICKETING teens Hayley Matthews, Shamar Springer and Chemar Holder brought their song and dance to the students of St Bartholomew Primary yesterday after the school hosted the three West Indies cricketers at a festive morning assembly.
Parish Land was the latest stop in what seems to be a “Champion Tour” as members of the champion men’s, women’s and Under-19 squads have been visiting schools across the island.
The players gave words of inspiration and advice to a school body that hung on every word.
But it was the moves the really got the children going, as Springer’s now famous chest roll brought smiles and cheers to everyone present before all three cricketers eventually busted out the Champion dance. (JM)
