MERCEDES GILL is “shocked” and “disappointed”, but she holds no anger in her heart for the person(s) who unlocked another level of pain on her and the family earlier this week, even if unwittingly.
The mother of Nicole Harrison-Watson was thrown into further grief on Tuesday when Sean Watson, who is accused of murdering her only daughter, was releasedon $250 000 bail.
“How somebody can really do that? Even if it’s his family that did it – yes, it’s yuh family and you want them out and everything, but think about Nicole and her family. Come on, she was a human being too; we are. It is a whole family that was destroyed. It wasn’t one person that was destroyed,” Gill argued.
Insisting that her daughter’s memory can’t just go like that, Gill said she is thinking of mobilising their close friends and loved onesto do “something”. (YB)
