WATER-STARVED RESIDENTS across Barbados  could soon be getting a consistent water supply within a matter of two months.

That was disclosed by Barbados Water Authority (BWA) engineer, Shelley Parris during a tour with the SUNDAY SUN on Thursday, that started in Cattlewash in Joseph.

It was around 11:30 a.m. when the team arrived on the worksite, where heavy-duty machinery was stationed near an access pit on one side of the road. While a worker for BWA contractor Jada Builders Inc. directed the occasional motorists passing by, a crew manned a tractor and drill to install a new pipeline.

Using a technique called horizontal directional drilling, a ten-inch main is being placed along Benn Spring, St John to Cattlewash, St Joseph to service residents in St John, St Joseph and St Andrew.
