Within the next few hours, members of the Barbados Labour Party (BLP) Christ Church West branch will vote for a new candidate to replace the embattled current Member of Parliament Dr Maria Agard.

The favourite, and only, contender for the position, Dr William Duguid, is confident that he is the right man for the job.

Duguid previously represented the constituency for ten years before, because of family commitments, he declined to seek re-election in the 2013 General Election and instead made way for Agard.
