Soca high at socatology

KERWIN DU BOIS was king of the stage at Kensington Oval and he was unapologetic during his showstopping reign.

It was not quite the religious experience in the literal sense, as was coined in the The Religion theme which it carried, but thousands of devout socaholics showed up at the Party Stand at the The Oval for Socatology: Carnival Addiction for a musical experience.

The Trinidadian artiste was the final live act and he hit the stage minutes to 3 a.m. Sunday morning and was welcomed by ravenous soca lovers.

Backed by a live band, the former International Groovy Soca Monarch winner did not hold back as he pulled All Kinda from his arsenal of hits and delivered numbers as Bacchanalist, Too Real, Overdoing It, Possessed, Spoil Mehself and No Apology. (TG)
