THE agricultural programme at the Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic (SJPP) continues to sprout success.
And, very soon, students of SJPP and the Barbados Community College (BCC) will benefit from additional agricultural lands.
Deputy SJPP principal Ian Drakes told the MIDWEEK NATION the Wildey students now worked on five acres of land but soon they, in addition to BCC students, would have 45 acres at the Hope in St Lucy to cultivate.
He was speaking during the agriculture division’s open day at the Wildey compound yesterday. More than 50 students from ten schools toured the field.
