City road closed

Workmen are carrying out extensive road rehabilitation work in King Williams Street off of River Road, St Michael, between Vine Street and its junction with River Road.

The road will be closed from Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., for approximately four to five weeks.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Transport, Works and Maintenance advises the public that work on the footpaths at Edgerton to St David’s, Christ Church is continuing.

While the road will not be closed, motorists are asked to be cautious and follow the directions of the traffic warden. Work will be carried out between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday to Friday and is expected to last a few more weeks. (PR)
