UPDATE: Road fatality in St James

EUWIN NOEL BECAME Barbados’ third road fatality for 2016 after being involved in an accident at the junction of Sion Hill Road and Upper Carlton No. 1, St James this evening.

Noel, 49, of Brittons New Road, Brittons Hill, St Michael was riding a motorcycle which was involved in an accident with a car driven by Winston Blackett of Halls Road, Rock Dundo, St James.

Police are carrying out investigations.

There have been two other road fatalities for the year.

On February 6, Dorothy Ione Gilkes was struck and killed on the ABC Highway near Pine Hill Dairy, while Carson Wharton passed away on February 24.

He had been in hospital for almost a week after being struck by a car at Breedy’s Land, Silver Sands, Christ Church. (BN)
