‘From prison to praise’ and eager to help

PETER BRADSHAW has big plans for his days of freedom.

But he wants help.

Moments after being released from HMP Dodds, St Philip, the man who escaped the hangman’s noose when his death sentence for killing Francia Plantation’s manager Cyril Sisnett was commuted to life imprisonment gave the Sunday Sun a glimpse of his future plans.

At 10 o’clock sharp, the now slender Bradshaw, clad in a crisp black dress pants and a black pin-striped short-sleeve shirt, with his locks caught up in a top knot, approached the security gate at the St Philip prison in the company of two prison guards.

“Who is this?” the prison guard in the checkpoint inquired.

“Peter Bradshaw,” Bradshaw replied as he clutched a large brown envelope, a Scholastics book and a white plastic bag.
