Bradshaw walks free today

THE BOY who pulled the trigger of the shotgun that killed Cyril Sisnett will be a middle-aged man walking out of Dodds Prison today.

Convicted killer and former death row inmate, 49-year-old Peter Bradshaw, will be released after spending more than 30 years behind the bars of every prison the island has known.

Bradshaw was one of a quartet, comprising Winston Hall, Denzil Roberts and David Oliver who terrorised the island in the 1980s, robbing well-to-do families and shooting at lawmen who tried to apprehend them.

But what landed him on death row was his killing of the 74-year-old Francia Plantation manager sometime between December 14 and 15, 1984.
