AGROFEST GOT OFF to a great start yesterday as Queen’s Park was filled with both schoolchildren and adults taking in the various display and games.
For the children, there were cute animals to pet and games to play, such as various races hosted by KB Kleen, mechanical bulls to ride and jumping tents.
Agrofest co-ordinator Theodore Fraser said “so far, so good”.
“The exhibitors have responded in a major way and there have been no major hiccups so far. The schools turned up in their numbers and have really taken to the features like the lime and spoon, rolling race and sack race and the hula hoop competition,” he said. (CA)
