QUEEN’S PARK was bustling yesterday as exhibitors prepared for this year’s Agrofest.
Exhibits co-ordinator Saunjean Cutting said all was on stream and they would be ready for the 10 a.m. start today.
“Everything is on track, the exhibitors are coming in and we will be ready at 10 a.m. sharp for the general public as we are not only allowing schoolchildren in on the first day like before,” she said.
Cutting said the major first-day draws would be the Nation Publishing Company/The Beat 104.1 FM Bajan Tuh De Bone Laugh & Lime Competition and the children’s concert to commemorate African Awareness Month.
Another draw will be organic farming as the Organic Growers and Consumers Association will be on hand as well as the Slow Food movement.
