PARENTS AND GUARDIANS of students who attend the Lawrence T. Gay Memorial Primary School are currently meeting with education officials at the Breath of Life Seventh Day Adventist Church at White Hall, St Michael.

That is where Class 3 and 4 students will be located until the end of the Hilary Term.

Acting Chief Education Officer Joy Adamson made the announcement today.

Class 4 students are expected at the church tomorrow, while the Class 3s should report on Thursday.

Class 1 and Class 2 students will be relocated to the Ann Gill Memorial Methodist Church on Black Rock.

The Spooners Hill, St Michael school was closed by the Ministry of Education, citing persistent environmental problems.

It was closed two days for industrial cleaning last term, but teachers and students continue to complain of adverse reactions.

Some of the parents at the meeting expressed dissatisfaction with the communication coming from the Ministry, saying they are still unaware of what is causing the problem. (TSG)

The relocation of furniture has started at Lawrence T. Gay Memorial.
