THE MINISTRY of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation has advised that the Lawrence T. Gay Memorial School, Spooner’s Hill, St. Michael, will be closed tomorrow, Monday, February 22.
On Friday Acting Minister of Education, Senator Harry Husbands said the ministry was looking for alternative accommodations for students and teachers who continue to suffer ill effects from an ongoing environmental issue.
The school was closed around lunchtime on Friday after the majority of teachers reported ill. (BGIS/NB)
