Route taxi driver Kelroy Alexander was shot in an apparent robbery attempt last night.
Alexander, 53, of Cane Vale Gap, Christ Church was travelling along Inch Marlow, Christ Church in ZR 204 when he stopped to let one of the passengers disembark.
Police said that passenger attempted to rob Alexander, but shot him in the right hand and the bullet lodged in his abdomen.
Alexander underwent emergency surgery and is recovering at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. (AC)
