IT WAS ALL about love yesterday as Barbadians joined people across the world in celebrating Valentine’s Day.
The love theme was evident in churches, on the streets, at the hotels and restaurants, beaches and in several other forums as people showed their love for God, themselves and one another.
There was no mistaking what was happening at St Bartholomew’s Anglican Church in Charnocks, Christ Church. If the floral decorations with carnations at different points in the church did not give it away, the title Love Sunday would have.
From the tiny tots to the senior men and women in the congregation, the colours of pink, red and white were dominant as members of the parish celebrated love on the first Sunday of Lent. (YB/RA)
