The FAILURE of the Barbados Football Association (BFA) to complete its headquarters development project is putting it at risk of losing much-needed funding from FIFA.

This was the blunt assessment yesterday from BFA president Randy Harris in an interview with WEEKENDSPORT.

Harris was speaking at the association’s headquarters in Wildey and he said that the slow pace of the project’s two phases was not sitting well with FIFA officials.

“They have already okayed BDS$2.2 million for both projects, but we are a bit over the total cost of having them both completed and we have to get some assistance in the near future, if not we risk the possibility of losing them at this time,” said Harris.
