Alleyne students get books, advice

GRASP THE OPPORTUNITY and study!

This is what students at the Alleyne School, St Andrew, were told yesterday as they received dozens of books from the Coalition for the Barbados Association of Central Florida with the help of Shopsmart Inc.

Administration and human resources manager for Shopsmart, Vasilois Yarde, encouraged the students to make full use of the books.

“As a group, we want to assist as many students as we can in the wider Barbados. I was speaking to the deputy principal and I said very often I meet applicants who come to me with no certificates and it concerns me that there are so many persons out there that are coming out with zero certificates,” Yarde said.
