NOEL LYNCH made the call.

Now Levi Cadogan is prepared to back it up.

Cadogan said he also believed that he and the rest of the men’s 4×100 relay team could deliver a medal at this year’s Olympic Games in Rio.

“There’s really no pressure on us with him saying that because once you get four of us fit then, trust me, we’re going to run pretty fast,” he said at the January Classic on Saturday when questioned about the bold prediction by Lynch, the vice president of the Athletics Association of Barbados.

“So, yeah, I can back Mr Lynch 100 per cent there for sure – that we can get a medal. It’s just for us to stay fit and hopefully get the baton around.”
