THE MOTHER who posted a recording of a heated meeting between herself and the principal of Parkinson Memorial School, Jeffrey Broomes, on social media is suing Broomes, the board of management and the Ministry of Education.

Lydia Collymore is asking the High Court to declare that the forced absence of her two children from school for almost a term was unlawful.

The girl and boy, aged 14 and 13, have not attended school since September 28 last year after a contentious meeting between Collymore and the principal.

The SUNDAY SUN understands that they were recently transferred to another school after their attorneys at Moore Daisley law firm served notice of the lawsuit on the ministry.
