Hope, Ottley do it for Red Force

BARBADOS WERE OUTFOXED by one of their own and another who plied his trade in the island, and lost their second-round match of the Nagico Super 50 cricket tournament yesterday.

Barbadian Kyle Hope, who is playing for the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force by virtue of his acquisition at the WICB draft last season, and Kjorn Ottley, who played with the Barbados-based Combined Campuses and Colleges, batted their way to a match-winning partnership that dented Barbados’ Pride.

Set a target of 161 in 50 overs, the pair came together with only one run on the board to see the Red Force not only march to their second consecutive victory but also gained another bonus point with a comfortable nine-wicket triumph when they finished on 163 for one in 35.5 overs.
